Prerequisites
- Physical Ability – Able to Perform CPR on the Floor for 2 Minutes
- Able to squat and lift 80kg in a group
- English Literacy
- Internet Connection

Our Courses

The Advanced Field Medical Course (AFMC) is an immersive 46.5-hour training program designed to develop advanced medical and trauma management skills in remote, austere, and high-threat environments. Combining Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) principles with advanced first aid and emergency response techniques, this course integrates realistic, high-fidelity simulations to prepare participants for managing complex medical emergencies under pressure.

In this course, you’ll learn to:

Respond safely and effectively to emergencies:
- Identify and mitigate risks in remote or hostile environments
- Adapt first aid principles to various challenging settings
Apply advanced medical interventions:
- Manage life-threatening bleeding (tourniquets, wound packing, haemostatic agents)
- Implement airway management, including advanced airway adjuncts
- Provide care for chest trauma and tension pneumothorax
- Conduct casualty stabilisation for prolonged field care
Manage incidents and coordinate emergency response:
- Assess and prioritise casualties using triage principles
- Operate effectively within a medical team in a dynamic environment
- Communicate and coordinate response efforts under stress
Work effectively in high-threat and remote conditions:
- Apply trauma care techniques in austere, low-resource settings
- Provide extended patient care when evacuation is delayed
- Adapt treatment plans based on environmental and logistical challenges
Develop leadership and teamwork skills in crisis situations:
- Participate in scenario-based exercises replicating real-world emergencies
- Make rapid, informed decisions under high-pressure conditions
- Engage in after-action reviews and debriefs to improve response skills

This course is designed for first responders, remote area workers, humanitarian aid personnel, and medical professionals operating in high-risk, remote, and tactical environments. By combining hands-on practical exercises with high-stress scenarios, participants gain the confidence and competency to manage complex medical situations in demanding and unpredictable settings.
