Our Courses

Real Response’s HLTAID016 – Manage First Aid Services and Resources course is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain, and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace. This unit is ideal for those in occupational first aid or management roles responsible for overseeing first aid services.

In this course, you’ll learn to:

Determine Workplace First Aid Requirements:
- Identify workplace hazards and assess associated risks to determine necessary first aid resources.
- Develop first aid action plans in consultation with relevant parties to address identified needs.
Establish and Maintain Workplace First Aid Facilities:
- Monitor and maintain the availability and operational readiness of first aid equipment and personnel.
- Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and disposal of first aid equipment and resources in line with legislative and workplace procedures.
Maintain Workplace First Aid Records:
- Complete and manage documentation in accordance with legislative and workplace requirements.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of records and information as per organisational policies.
Review the Provision of First Aid in the Workplace:
- Participate in incident debriefings or evaluations to improve future operations and address individual needs.
- Contribute to the review of workplace policies and procedures based on risk assessments and evaluations of first aid provisions.

HLTAID015 – Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy – Equips participants with the skills to provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy, essential for managing life-threatening situations.
HLTSS00068 – Occupational First Aid Skill Set – This intensive 3 day course equips participants with the skills to manage workplace first aid resources (HLTAID016), respond to complex medical emergencies, and provide advanced first aid(HLTAID014) and resuscitation(HLTAID015) in high-risk environments.
Progressive Advanced Skill Set (PASS): An intensive 4-day program that integrates all the above units, offering a thorough and progressive approach to advanced first aid training.
