Participants will learn to identify the need for oxygen, use various oxygen delivery devices, and manage a casualty’s condition using oxygen therapy, including monitoring oxygen saturation levels with a pulse oximeter.
• Practical Application and Scenario Training: Realistic scenarios and practical exercises form a core part of the training, enabling participants to apply their skills in simulated emergency situations. This hands-on approach enhances their ability to respond confidently and effectively in real-world scenarios.
• Communication and Incident Management: Participants will develop skills in assessing emergency situations, communicating effectively with emergency services, and managing the incident site until medical assistance arrives. The course also covers reporting and documentation procedures in line with workplace or community setting requirements.
The focus of this course on advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy ensures that participants are equipped with the necessary skills to manage complex emergency situations where advanced first aid response is critical.
