Uncover LeadershipCompleting Real Response training is about creating leaders within your organisation. Staff will become more proactive about safetyand encourage others to do the same.
First aid training has undergone an amazing transformation in recent decades thanks to advances in technology and portable life saving equipment. Real Response is ahead of the pack, delivering simulation-based first aid training and virtual reality first aid training, plus highly-regarded speciality services to ensure those under your care are looked after at all times.
What are speciality services?
Real Response speciality services include a range of training programs that are tailored to match your unique needs. We undertake an in-depth consultation with every client to ensure training matches expectations, along with continuity training to future-proof your business or organisation.
It’s no secret that the world can be a dangerous place, and even the simplest of tasks carries some risk. Most businesses don’t have emergency physicians or an intensive care unit on hand, so having qualified first aiders in place to minimise workplace risks gives you a real advantage. Real Response is proud to be making a change in the way Australians approach emergency situations, ultimately saving more lives.
What speciality services do you offer?
The uptake of Real Response training courses in Melbourne and Sydney has been dramatic. Since establishment in late 2014, Real Response has assisted prestigious organisations such as Mecure, Crown, Sanitarium and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology to reach their organisational first aid goals. Real Response speciality courses include:
Fire Extinguisher: Taught by qualified firefighters, the fire extinguisher course (PUAWER008B) guides students through appropriate and safe use of fire extinguishers used on wide-ranging types of fires.
Fire Warden: Every large building or establishment where people gather requires fire wardens to oversee safety of persons and premises during an emergency. Fire Warden Training (PUAWER005B), completed in only 4 hours, is the solution.
Chief Warden: As an adjunct to PUAWER005B, Chief Warden Training is for individuals who thrive on responsibility. This course develops the leadership skills required to oversee any emergency response or building evacuation procedure in your jurisdiction.
Emergency Drills: Increase your emergency response effectiveness by engaging your staff in emergency drills where communication and teamwork are high priorities. Real Response Emergency Drill training can be tailored to include response to an active shooter, terrorist attack, building collapse, traffic accident, fire, flood and more.
Crisis Management: Long gone are the days of single dimensional first aid training. Real Response Crisis Management training uses a battleground platform and customised simulations for greater learning immersion, knowledge assimilation and emergency response. Emergency care and emergency medicine is all part of the package with Real Response, where the first 5 minutes of emergency procedure performed correctly correlates with higher success rates of patients fully recovering from life-threatening situations.
Are speciality courses more expensive?
Real Response first aid training courses, including speciality courses, are priced to introduce everyday Australians to first aid and CPR training. We host courses at our dedicated Real Response headquarters, provide on-site programs at your workplace or establishment, and hold public first aid training courses at locations conveniently accessed around Melbourne and Sydney.
We aim to empower people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond to low-frequency, high-risk emergencies at a price you can afford. Our group training programs are incredibly popular and great value, and the thanks from the person whose life you save will be the ultimate reward for your small investment in time and money.
What qualifications do you need to partake in the speciality courses?
If you have a genuine desire to oversee the health and safety of those around you, you are on the right track. Emergencies aren’t an everyday occurrence for most people, and while others stand around and do nothing you will be able to act decisively with the skills and procedures required to save lives. Specialist courses are ideal for people who thrive on responsibility and are a great stepping stone toward higher first aid attainments, job promotion, or for embarking on an entirely new career trajectory.
