The Provide First Aid (PFA) and LVR training courses are structured to be complementary, with PFA serving as foundational knowledge for the more specialised LVR training. The PFA course covers a broad range of first aid procedures, from basic CPR to using first aid equipment and completing incident documentation. After mastering these essential first aid skills, participants move on to the LVR course, which focuses on the specific requirements for rescuing someone from a live LV panel, including preparation, execution, and post-rescue assessments.

Central to both courses is Real Response's simulation-enhanced learning approach. This method is particularly effective for knowledge retention and instilling confidence in participants. By creating realistic emergency scenarios, we enable participants to apply their skills in a controlled environment, better preparing them for real-world situations. As of October 2023, the unit 'UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel' has been updated to 'UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel,' and now includes an additional prerequisite requiring evidence of an existing ESI of Electrotechnology qualification for enrolment.
Prerequisites Provide evidence of holding an existing ESI or Electrotechnology qualification, English Literacy, Physical Ability – Able to Perform CPR on the Floor for 2 Minutes, Internet Connection

This Express CPR and LVR course is tailored for professionals who need to renew their qualifications efficiently without compromising on quality. With a 2.5-hour face-to-face session complemented by online learning, this course is ideal for companies that complete their training annually. In CPR (HLTAID009), you'll cover essential skills such as recognising emergency situations, performing CPR in line with ARC guidelines, and operating an AED. For LVR (UETDRMP007, Formerly UETDRRF004), the focus is on executing and completing rescue from live LV panels, all while adhering to workplace safety protocols. Our unique approach incorporates simulation-enhanced learning, even in this express format. This ensures that you're not just ticking off a box but are genuinely prepared to act effectively in real-world emergencies.
This course involves the rescue procedures from live low voltage apparatus and the skills needed to provide CPR to a casualty, as separate distinct skills that are required for working around electrical assets. Both components cover equipment and practical methods for first aid and rescue operations.
The UETDRMP010 course, formerly known as UETDRRF007, is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to provide first aid in an Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) environment, as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This course integrates essential first aid skills with the unique requirements of working in an ESI setting. It covers everything from recognising hazardous environments to taking appropriate measures to avoid injury or further harm. Real Response's simulation-enhanced learning is a key feature of this course, focusing on the most common first aid situations that ESI employees are likely to encounter. This hands-on approach significantly improves knowledge retention and ensures that participants are well-prepared to handle real-world emergencies.
