The combined Provide First Aid (PFA) and Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) course is designed to equip you with a comprehensive set of skills that meet the requirements of both HLTAID011 and UETDRMP010 (Formerly UETDRRF007). This course covers everything from recognising and assessing emergency situations to applying appropriate first aid procedures, all in line with industry standards.

What elevates our training is the integration of simulation-enhanced learning techniques. This hands-on approach focuses on the most common first aid and ESI-specific scenarios you're likely to encounter. The goal is to ensure that you're not only knowledgeable but also confident and prepared to act effectively in real-world emergencies.

The Provide First Aid (PFA) and LVR training courses are structured to be complementary, with PFA serving as foundational knowledge for the more specialised LVR training. The PFA course covers a broad range of first aid procedures, from basic CPR to using first aid equipment and completing incident documentation. After mastering these essential first aid skills, participants move on to the LVR course, which focuses on the specific requirements for rescuing someone from a live LV panel, including preparation, execution, and post-rescue assessments. Central to both courses is Real Response's simulation-enhanced learning approach. This method is particularly effective for knowledge retention and instilling confidence in participants. By creating realistic emergency scenarios, we enable participants to apply their skills in a controlled environment, better preparing them for real-world situations. As of October 2023, the unit 'UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel' has been updated to 'UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel,' and now includes an additional prerequisite requiring evidence of an existing ESI of Electrotechnology qualification for enrolment.
This course is designed to equip you with a comprehensive skill set across three vital areas. In PFA (HLTAID011), you'll learn to respond to emergency situations, apply appropriate first aid procedures, and communicate incident details effectively. For ESI (UETDRMP010, Formerly UETDRRF007), the emphasis is on preparing and executing first aid procedures in an electrical environment. In LVR (UETDRMP007, Formerly UETDRRF004), you'll be trained to carry out rescue from live LV panels and complete the rescue procedure safely. What sets our training apart is our commitment to simulation-enhanced learning. This immersive approach prepares you to act decisively and effectively in real-world situations, ensuring you're not just trained but truly prepared. Note: As of October 2023, the unit 'UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel' has been updated to 'UETDRMP007 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel' and now requires evidence of an existing ESI or Electrotechnology qualification for enrolment.
The UETDRMP010 course, formerly known as UETDRRF007, is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to provide first aid in an Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) environment, as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This course integrates essential first aid skills with the unique requirements of working in an ESI setting. It covers everything from recognising hazardous environments to taking appropriate measures to avoid injury or further harm. Real Response's simulation-enhanced learning is a key feature of this course, focusing on the most common first aid situations that ESI employees are likely to encounter. This hands-on approach significantly improves knowledge retention and ensures that participants are well-prepared to handle real-world emergencies.
